Grape Flavoured Acetaminophen for Children

Tylenol Grape Flavoured Acetaminophen for Children comes in a 20-tablet pack. Designed for children ages 2 to 11 years, they effectively relieve fever, pain from immunizations, colds, flu, headaches, toothache and minor muscle aches, pains and sprains. DOSAGE: Do not exceed recommended dose (see liver warning). Children 2 to 11 years of age: To administer the correct dose, follow the directions carefully. If possible, dose according to the child's weight and/or age. Chew the tablet or let it dissolve in the mouth. The unit dose can be repeated every 4 to 6 hours, if needed. Do not exceed 5 doses in a 24-hour period. WARNING: Keep out of reach of children. Regarding the Liver - Acetaminophen can cause fatal liver damage, which can result in death, if you: exceed the recommended 24-hour dose or administer this medication with other medications containing acetaminophen. Symptoms of liver damage may include: yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, sweating, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, unusual tiredness, or loss of appetite. Allergy Alert: Acetaminophen can cause severe skin reactions such as redness, blistering, or rash. If any of these symptoms occur, discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately. Do not use with other medications containing acetaminophen or if you are allergic to acetaminophen or any other ingredient in this product. If you are not sure if a medicine contains acetaminophen or methocarbamol, ask a doctor or pharmacist. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if your child: has liver or kidney disease or is taking a warfarin-based blood thinner. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if: symptoms last more than 5 days, fever lasts more than 72 hours, or pain or fever worsens, or new symptoms occur. In case of overdose, contact a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately. It is essential to seek medical attention immediately, even if there are no signs or symptoms. Do not use if the carton is opened or if the seal on the neck or mouth of the bottle is missing or broken.
